Astral Barista Wife
Astral Barista Wife
Barista wife come to life
“Listen, I did need a social call in my pall
But I left a heavenly security system
In the apartment, soulcams everywhere
To keep my heart secure.
Before I left earth orbit
My astral camera caught you
stranded in my posthumous crib.
Ironically, salt, such as from your tears,
When added to coffee neutralizes the taste buds
to take out the bitterness.
Here, consider it on the house absolution.”
“Why do I believe you are who you say you are?”
“Join me at the college for my Buddhism class
Where we learn how to remember our rebirths.”
“Do they teach that in academia?”
“This isn’t your grandmother’s college.”
“Won’t my brain get crowded
with all those memories?”
“No gridlock in past life regression.
Just smooth traffic down ancient roads.”
