feeling uninspired
Gazing at the pale empty wall
a movie screen transforming into darkness
drawing me further into emptiness
obscene scenes seen on the screen
My soul a hollow container
being beaten by sticks
like an angry drum solo
The monotonous monster of everyday life
hammers against my failing mind
like a sledgehammer pounding its thunderous dents
into a rusted sheet of steel
which refuses to alter its original form
and to bend to the unholy will of the world.
Madness will continue to steer the blind wheel
driving me onward into oblivion
silence screaming into my being
The world is still
......and now I'm seeing......
