This is so beautifully written. I can't say for certain, but I image that most humans have these thoughts about how they will be remembered when they die. At some point, all memory of existence will cease as there will come a time when no one alive will have ever known us.  It's an interesting theme, death. You have explored it well.

It’s not a subject I’ve really ever explored before, but since my MS diagnosis, I’ll admit it’s on my mind more often these days.  Thank you so much for reading and for your support, Eerie.

I can't imagine how anyone could forget.
This piece is powerful. Saddened. But a good ode for what so many take for granted. I don't see how anyone could read this and not feel appreciative.

"conductors of synesthetic symphony" is an excellent line expressing how beautiful it is.
This verse serves as a reminder to appreciate that we have, to really engage in the bond in the now. It's also somewhat cryptic, like a warning, a loving and stern warning.
