Death shall bring Colours

when death may come
strewn petals of dead roses
freely cover the silent stone
markers of one who once was

when the harvesters of souls
pass by and collect debts
of life lived through uncharted years
colours of rainbows soothe unfettered terror

freedom from mortal coils
unwanted yet inevitable
will bring hues of sorrow
in rainbows created by tears on eyelashes

Death shall bring Colours
on the journey to the stars
with dusts of the cosmos
a galaxy of brilliance

and there we be.
