Dare

How dare I give attention to anything or anyone but you?
How dare I want to live for myself too?
How dare I prioritise and organise what I need to do?
How dare I go to the odd party, get drunk and pass out?
How dare I want to do anything without you?
How dare I have a single independent thought?
How dare I want to scream at you when you tell me how I feel?
How dare I voice an opinion that might make you seem wrong?
How dare I not say 'I love you' every five fucking seconds?
How dare I feel broken after all the mess that's happened?
How dare I have these feelings that I'd never act upon?
How dare I be an imperfect human that sometimes will fuck up?
How dare I let the distance grow as I tire of your shit?
How dare I walk right out the door when I've had enough of it?
How dare I want to turn around and say, "Well... how dare you?"
