Sunflower Eyes

I never thought Id be domesticated
To have someone who just wanted me  
I've always been skittish about promises  
And when I finally gave in to his world  
Everything just fell into place just wonderfully  
The partner, dog, house, job of my dreams  
I've never felt so much love in my life  
His long curly hair between my fingers  
As his head lays so sweetly in my lap  
Gotta love a man who'll give you the world  
Everything he could possibly give on a silver plate  
His sweet kisses in the morning when he hands me my meds  
How precious it is to watch him play with our dog  
The way he loves me and takes care of me... irreplaceable  
We'll be watching tv and as he rubs my feet  
And when I just look at him my heart hurts from the happiness  
Im going through some of the darkest days
And this sunflower eyed man is just there loving me  
Being this sunshine creature eager to give endless love  
Giving me everything I could ever ask for  
Amd so, so much more than I could ever expect
