DARING TO BE ME (# 5)
QUESTIONS
The discoveries of life
evolve around questions;
without asking and answering
pertinent questions self
will never be fully explored or
KNOWN.
The questions for me
are basically simple but
to honestly know the answers
is deeper and more challenging.
What are my core values?
What am I committed to
and am willing to rationally
defend, not on the demerits of
another person but on my
core values, for me, revolve around
TRUTH.
Closely related is the question,
How ethical am I? How have
I defined and developed
my ethical code for living?
Since we live life in categories,
do I know my categories and
how do I function in each?
PERSONALLY,
for me these few questions
form the core of my life, but
it is the answers that reveal
who and what I am.
I was born and designed to be an
ORIGINAL,
but will I die a copy?
Today is another chance
for me to dare and be,
not you, but
ME!

Original, but will I die a copy?".. What a question to ask one's self. For me, thinking of myself as a copy is just horrifying. I don't know why really, it just hits me in a place that makes me cringe in denial. My hopes are that I can absolutely consider myself an independent voice with an individualized valuable perception.

You are positively a man of such wonderfully crafted thoughts, experiences and abilities to weave your poetry the way you do.
