the irony of self harm
i don't want to do it
its just an urge, a feeling
the blade hurts
but the pain stops
the blood is a soft red liquid
it brings me comfort
for once, i'm the one hurting myself
i have the control over the pain
but I don't have control over the urge
it's ironic

It almost seems wrong to "like" a poem about such a painful, sad, and serious matter. I too have walked this path. I'm still walking it to be honest. If you want to talk, or just bounce ideas off, I am here.
