Thank you Razzer, and for the RL. I was brought up on Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World as a teenager and they keep on making their presence felt.

I had to look up who Jim Jarmusch was. Not at all familiar to me. I rarely watch films but have you got any specific starter recommendation to watch?

They are all great Josh. His latest is awesome...deeply philosophical, "The Dead Don't Die"...about zombies, but it's much deeper than that. His classics are, "Dead Man" from 1995, with Johnny Depp...and "Ghost Dog" starring Forrest Whitaker...the same actor uses the line, "Stupid fucking white men" in both films.

Thanks for that Harry. The world is way too "stupid fucking white men" oriented, I guess because the West is shaped by Greek ideas, English has become a dominant language, and America (through the dollar, big (internet) tech, and military might), kind of rules the world. There is so much other-ways-of-thinking if one goes East (like you've done) and by exploring other cultures, particularly in their perceptions of Mother Earth.

I agree with Montaigne...and Nietzsche...different perspectives builds a bigger picture. Thanks Josh.

I bet Josh if George Orwell is reading this he'll be  ROFLing and nodding at the same time.

Good point. It's one reason why we haven't had a television in our household for 20+ years. And the children-now-adults don't have one either. Of course the internet's come in the meantime but hey, there's still the 'off' button.  :))
