Why is my mind stuck on whip... we can whip each other but you are the one who will change for me in the end. lol Love this. You did a beautiful job of capturing both sides of a potentially complicated or possibly very simple relationship, depending on how you look at it and what day it is, between a muse and the writer. But when each person is both then it is truly magical...

When the whip comes down I perform like a monkey.
Until such time I'm difficult and needing an editor to help me find my way out the boxes I create for myself ....
I like your perspective,  gives me something to think about ...
