Long Days... Even Longer Nights...

Nights lasting Forever... Moon shines... Faint light casts oil-painting veneer over the room... all is un-shadow and half-hearted darkness... even with eyes-closed it will look exactly the same...

These Long Days and even Longer Nights... captive to thoughts that don't stop... won't stop... A Tense Brain Muscle... always calculating... calculating some inane ponderance... some artistic idea... some musical catchphrase... Feeling that everything must be recorded... every idea and utterance... Searching for Zen and Spirituality... Enlightenment can't be too far ahead... I can see the Light coming... but it never seems to be Dawning...

Long Days... Perpetual Nights... tossing and turning on bedcovers ruffled by un-sleep... ruffled by tense Gaze of a God that deigns you get no sleep tonight... no rest for the wicked... itchy fingers... buzzing brain and spinal chord... legs aching and feet and toes numb, sore... sweating frozen ice from under-nourished pores...

Day-waking in Another Dimension... half here, half in elsewhere... lacking super-symmetry, lacking proper sleep and biology... An Alien in Human Form... observing thru burnt out fiery inhuman eyes... a shifting phase apart from reality... a different time-sphere adrift... a relative twitch that's a photon away but it might as well be a light-year...

Long Day... A Fucking Eternal Night... waiting for an alignment of Karma... or maybe just a line of Ketamin...
