bohemian woman

your jangled smile unsettled me
I wasn't ready for your free spirit
it pulled on my heart
it grabbed my need

I was amphetamine on weed
you were cool peace
your undertow pulled me under
I drown in your passion
you revived me with your beauty
taking me to another level
where I could be me without doubts

inside your gentle storm I was calm
I hated you for your grace
I longed to feel the same
deep in my core I had to have you for my own
but you belonged to the world

your smile put me at ease
inside your whirlwind
I learned who I am
I will never be the same
