I'm tired of praying for a better life,
an easier path to take.
So it's time to stop begging for it to end and start letting it begin.
It's time to pray for the strength to endure the struggles not a way to escape them.

we all have weakness we must face but we also have much strength in us and we
must find and use this and learn to rely upon our inner strength and keep it strong
to help our journey through life you will find it a poet must bare their soul

Omg! What insight and clarity of thought to turn it around and ask for strength as opposed to the easy way out. Why I didn’t think of this years ago?. Sure would have made life more bearable. What a beautiful and wise write! H🌷

Reminds me of the hymn verse (from memory), 'Father hear the prayer we offer, not for ease this prayer shall be;/but to smite the living fountains, live our lives courageously.'
