the great divide
the wealthy have
their money and
possessions
the poor have
their faith and
God
in the end it all
ends up the
same either
rich or
poor
but the rich have
a more
comfortable
death

Not to mention accessible health care which prolongs their life.
A very sobering write, BK.

It's a sobering world we live in and I'm sick of all of it.

Yes, thanks . Recuperating at home. A nurse comes over to take care of bandages. Great healthcare.

After standing on the precipice, I can quite definitively state that I’d take a meaningful death over a comfortable death. After all, Death has no care for wealth or possessions. She takes us when it’s our time, and no amount of money will stop her. Thought provoking piece, bk.

Thank you, Eerie. You are right. Those who have not ever looked into the abyss have no idea.

Re. the great divide
Dear BK,
I’ve wondered this off and on for years. I’ve come to the same conclusion each time. I don’t know? Poverty is never fair when one is in need. Wealth is useless when there’s no cure any amount of money could buy.
Friends though, holding my hand in the end- that will be my wealth and I think your write just gave me that clarity.
Rich or poor no one can deny the meaningful poem you’ve written depicting this current monstrous situation. H🌷

What good is money if at the end they die alone (those around them are hungry to take their portion of their will). The divide between the rich and working class keeps getting bigger and bigger, and it really feels as if their greed has corrupted the fabric of society and their souls.
Excellent spill.
