It's only conditional if you both unconditionally agree. Totally love this offering. Is there any such thing as unconditional love? It depends on personality, on whether you are able to give & take.
P. S, I feel you do not need the 3rd & last stanza as all the information necessary is contained within the first two. Maybe as part of an author's commentary, you could mention it there instead, perhaps?

You know I really don't think so,
I hear people talk of unconditional love from a pet, umm
I'm not sure a dog will love you if it is abused and unfed?
