the cowboy
I went to Johnny Quick to pick up some smokes
I saw a cowboy there checking me out on his periphery
intrigued, I gave him a look
you know the kind
says I'm curious
I'm holding a Queen of diamonds
what you got cowboy
he pins me to the wall with a glare
suddenly I'm just a wallflower afraid to speak
his crooked smile says it all
honey, I'd break you
the clerk breaks the spell
you gonna pay for those
I rummage through my purse
pay for my smokes and head out
still shaken I start to walk home
the cowboy riding a metal horse
slows down beside me
want a ride?
my inner voice says hell no
I stutter yes
trembling I get on behind him
masculine wiles burn me
I hang on tight anyway
we're heading to his house
there he fucks me
deeper and harder than I've ever had before
penetrating my resolve
injecting me with all his rage
I shouldn't be so beautiful
it hurts him
so tonight I'm just his whore
the woman he picked up at the Johhny Quick
I walk away the joker played his hand
