Teardrops (Covid heartbreak)

Teardrops (Covid heartbreak)

Tears fall like raindrops, my heart just aches with pain, I miss you so very much, I need you here again

Just to see you smiling, so we could laugh and chat, swop flirtatious comments, silly things like that

I'd get to see your eyes, to smell the perfume that you wear, to feel again your warm embrace, to feel how much you care

Go for lunch together, share some special time, so for some fleeting moments, I could dream that you are mine

Dream we're so much more, than real close special friends, I imagine we were lovers and our days out never end

But in reality we are kept apart by Covid, so I am all alone, at least I have you in my heart and your pictures on the phone

So when this nightmares over, wing your way right here to me, so we can be together
the way it’s meant and supposed to be
