Image for the poem wept

wept

the darkness wept bitter tears to see one of its own so void of thought
she slept in utter despair
no fascination could she find
but the ruins of life still call her

I conjure today for myself
freeing my energy to the stars
may they smile once again

darkness greed feed today
on a lonesome wind stir the devil's riotous despair
grieving sonnets they talk of past ages

souls grumbling devastation the feast they're after
sunsets dipped in crimson
the blood rite recognized

within the tomes of history
the children of naught carefully prepared
coded verse lulled the masses to sleep
into the throes of their captors

grey is the day who saw me fade
I walk in the daylight fulfilling my role
I summons the master may he be avenged
initiates of fire feed your darkest imaginations
