“waiting for the light to return”

Where’s the gd switch?! Trying to find the light in this seemingly endless darkness has become wearisome. Making the best of it only lasts so long. Your write has shed yet another layer of truth on an awful human trait. Anxiety. It’s awful and so time consuming. Blech! Your poem, however, is the exact opposite. Behind its literary power, it’s soft and prayerful and mentally soothing. Lovely write. H🌷

You needs a comma after "darkness"

This line "a perfected pirouette;" suggests that the darkness is what knocks the narrator out of a joyful daily routine, so it's very easy to visualize your ballerina being imprisoned within a closed music box.
