In eternity's embrace
I am hers
Completely
No ifs
No buts
Just hers
Under a glowing sunset
The embers of love
Were stoked
Red firelight
Warming hearts
Everything
Seemed softer
Deep in her eyes
The world dimmed
When our lips
Touched
By gone poets
Gazed upon us
In this moment
We were the inspiration
That every writer
Aspires to express
