Rise  and shine

God woke up and
Felt totally rejuvinated
It was as if He'd slept
Three days straight,
Felt like He was twenty again
Working on carving wood
And making toys for kids.
Strange memories. Sorts
Of flashbacks, flashbacks
To a bunch of fools and mécréants
Who had treatded Him so badly.
Not in His simple kingdom
Where there was nothing but peace,
Where money and greed had no place
But where pleasant social  interactions
Occured.
A knock at the door.  One of the archangels
Wishing to tell Him that it was time
To rise and shine while
Depositing a plate containing some
Pita bread and a small pot of honey.
There would be both a ice hockey game
With such greats as Maurice Richard, Glen Hall
Gordie Howe and Jean Béliveau.
As well,  a game of baseball with such legends
As Carl Yazstremski, MIckey Mantle and Roger Marris.
A great day of festivites like very few such in the
Course of an heavenly year.
