I keep forgetting
We're not in love
Throw backs clog up my mind
Here we go again
I get excited and I just want
To tell you all about it

That that's not okay anymore

My joys with you anymore

Grab me a needle, need to sew this shut

Strap on those cement shoes

It's difficult to stop reverting back to certain individuals in those happy times, after whatever history was shared. Sounds like you caught yourself before you went there.
