I was cussed at called names threatened and told to leave in forum by a well-known member of this site...I told the offending person I wasn't intimidated...my friend stood up for me and was time banned with the possibility of being permanently banished... the other party who flung curse words at me and tried to bully me was not banned...it was brought up by me the groups this person runs to seemingly unify the site is actually a point of power to divide the site... as only the members invited by her or by contacting her are you allowed on this show when half the site she dismisses as useless are blocked by her...so they are not able to take part...I'm very sad my friend got in trouble on my account I would not have had things that way... I was able to say what I wanted without cursing, name-calling and threats, unlike the other party... now she has written a goodbye letter that says the argument made her physically ill and affects her mental health I'm curious how she thinks she made me feel with her special level of bullying... I feel dismissed easily... since nothing was done to this poetess on my behalf...I am politely requesting something fair is done...

I've been here eleven years and never harrassed or bullied anyone...she was cruel enough to point out that while we were friends on FB I shared thoughts on aliens and God that bothered her during a mental lapse I had nothing I ever sent her was harrassing in nature and I defy her to say other wise...it's cruel she should highlight her bouts with suicidal feelings that absolutely were not due to any treatment I gave her while on this site and to elude otherwise is very wrong...
I beseech the site since I don't have access to the WebMiss directly...
I am not one for drama I didn't start or escalate this but I won't be drug through the mud either without sticking up for myself...
I truly hope fairness is upheld here.

I agree, Crimsin. When I was a moderator this person was warned at least three times for personal attacks against others. I have been the victim of her brash attacks and nothing was ever done, except her posts hidden or removed. And some members wonder why other members consider some moderators biased on this site? It's because they allow their personal friends to get away with what they wouldn't allow others to do.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. I hope justice is further served as an example that no personal attacks will be tolerated here at DU by ANYONE. The excuse that this member has left is not a valid one, as she is still very much a member here, not having deactivated her * main * account.
And I would recommend screenshotting them too as proof it happened.

thank you dearest Vati for your advice I'm very upset by this...I held my cool while she personally bashed me and nothing has been done she deactivated for a day and came back... then posted a letter saying her mental well being was affected what about mine and that of the site being that many will stand back out of fear of being personally singled out...I will screenshot the thread since it's still there to my further insult...I'm just very saddened so many people I considered friends have sided with her I don't know what to make of it...I will persist with a level head pointing out my own mental trauma due to this...I suffer from bipolar and schizophrenia still I have never attacked anyone...I'm deeply hurt and troubled I deeply appreciate you sharing ❤

I understand, Brenda. In all the years I've been here ( 5.5 ) I have never, not once, personally attacked anyone. Ever.
I am sorry about your mental health. Those preaching on this person's behalf about watching what we say to others need to apply it to their friend's behaviour. Some members have been so entitled to act accordingly they don't fear the repercussions of those actions, because they're typically hidden by the mods or deleted by the author.
I must commend the mods for leaving her comments up this time so that DU can make their own determinations. It saddens me that they fought so valiantly to have the person who attacked her banned, while condoning her attacks because [ insert name here ].

I'm deeply saddened people I considered my own friends have sided with her...in spite of my open heart when I asked the question... they feel sad for her when I did nothing to attack her simply stated what I knew to be facts... I was told last year I would be invited to be on the podcast again when the person in question blocked me here according to her it was because what I shared to her in confidence on FB not in a harrassing way just hey I think I'm losing it mentally she blocked me there and here... needless to say I was never invited to be on the show again...my friends were one by one picked up by her like playing cards I feel because they served her purpose... I've had countless members tell me they were blocked by her for no apparent reason...sadly making it impossible for them to particpate in the podcast or the other show she runs... I'm hurt that she verbally attacked and threatened me and nothing was done... i guess I just don't hold enough power or sway here...
Well hopefully this person is gone now, or will be very soon now that most know how she's blatantly attacked others.
She's not the only one with mental illness on this board; there are others too. And none should be excused for their bad behaviour. Bullying and attacking should not be tolerated in any form from any member, and we have a responsibility to stand up to it and defend those who were attacked ( even if we don't care for them personally ).
If we don't, we become just as they are by lack of action.
