Premonition

This is actually a true story. It was my grandmother's best friend.  She told her daughter about hat dream (who then told my aunt who then told my grandma). She passed away a couple of days later.

My aunt said her grave is one of the few at the top of the cemetery with a view of the town. It's been almost 30 years now.

Phew. That’s a premonition for sure. Perhaps not the kind you want to have, should you truly know what it is!

In the second line I am wondering if maybe you accidentally left “she” out between “That” and “was”. While reading, my brain wanted insert the word.

Thank you Eerie, I went ahead and fixed it. In my haste of writing, I sometimes overlook the obvious. But as I was telling crimsin, this is based on a true story.  Linda was one of the sweetest people I met and she was loved by many.
She passed away on my birthday.

This made me shutter.  Wow!  

A few suggestions for a smoother read would be:  

She said she had a dream
That [ she ] was queen of the parade
With a full view of everyone…
 
[ At ] her funeral procession
Attended by almost everyone ( I would italize this line for emphasis )
Her final resting place was [ a ]top [ a ] hill
Overlooking the town

I removed a few words I didn't think were pertinent and in the second stanza, I created some very nice alliteration with  'a' in L3.

As I was commenting previously, it's a true story about my grandma's best friend. She passed away on my birthday over 30 years ago. I have fond memories of her along with the stories (and adventures) my grandma tells me of their days. They had a friendship that lasted over 40 years until the time of her passing.

Those types of friendships are very few and far between in today's times. Too many people are tempted beneath their value.
