We Need Live Uploads on Every Street!

It would help our police if instead of taking smartphone pics of some crime as it happens and putting into onto social media like a trophy for their friends to gawp at, they let the police have them straight away so the miscreant why may not be a first time offender, can be identified.

Yes we do need camera out in the streets  but they to can malfunction or people can find them and mess them up.  We neec to come up with a better solution to help us all.  Keep on writing my goddess.

We have those around Johannesburg but it seems like the police never respond despite seeing events unfolding...
Yet you'll find videos trending on YouTube taken from police CCTV....

I just wonder if they are ever helpful?

So far, operation legend has arrested over 2,000 people - cutting crime in half in sound places. So there’s that. Russia(?) is heavily surveilled in public and it’s really destroyed the street crime - I understand. I’d like to look it up again to be sure...

In hot areas, yet.  Not everywhere.   We do not need a Big Brother society.   (PS: we DO see though the necessity for cops to carry body-cams).
