We all have issues and things we have to solve with our mental health
I don’t understand the things you have dealt with, but as you can tell I can try
You said you have scars on you that you have to hide but to me I will love them as they are part of yourself
I’m just trying to do my best to make someone happy while I’m living happy so we can be alive and survive
Yeah, I don’t wanna be left with a mark in my heart that’s the size of your life
Because if I lose you, I don’t know what to do, will I give up? I just might
This isn’t good for the soul, this isn’t good for my goals
We all make mistakes so maybe this way around was just the wrong time
But I don’t wanna wait too long because before we know it we might be looking for the light
So save the silence and open your mind
If you’re not ready yet, I’ll stay steady and I’ll open mine
But not too much to drag you away
Just enough that I need to make you stay
So we can fall in love all over again, I will give you my heart before it becomes too late
