Eternity is hard to comprehend
A finite mind trying to grasp
The incomprehensible
Awake my mind to your visions
We were not meant for this world
A fleeting glimpse
Speck of dirt in the vast galaxy
The journey continues
To the promised Land
We were not meant for this world
Why are we here?
You have known us
Before the dawn of time
Exiled from paradise
Sent to suffer
Off to war
A stranger in a foreign land
Grace has saved me
From a cursed world
That I was forced into
I want to go home
We were not meant for this world
SAVE US!
Save us from the monsters
We have become
Sick souls that need cleansed
Please take us back into the garden
We were not meant for this world

Nice spirituality here ... makes me think of Crosby, Still, and Nash ... "We are stardust, we are golden/we are billion year old carbon/and we got to get ourselves back to the garden" ... from Woodstock ...
