Comparing the Bible to Christ

Christ is the living "WORD OF GOD" while the Bible is the written Word of God.
Christ is the WORD OF GOD THAT IS GOD(John 1.1).
Whereas the Bible is the Word of God that is NOT God !!
So the Bible is NOT on the same level as Christ !!
The Bible contains "the letter that kills" (the Law).
Let me emphasize it: "the letter that KILLS."
So there's no excuse for people to "worship" the Bible.
By which i mean to overly revere it, to close our eyes to its flaws and shortcomings.
And yes, its errors. It falls short of inerrancy.
Its supposed to be inerrant!! So what happened!!
How can we explain errors in the Bible, "the Word of God"?
There are 2 choices: we can close our eyes and stick our heads in the sand like an ostrich.
Or we can admit there ARE errors, and then try to justify them.
If an error in the Bible is something God can "use," maybe that would let God off the hook.
Or else mankind doesn't deserve a perfect book !!
Maybe a Bible with errors in it is our chance to be humble enuff to still LOVE the Bible - for what it is, not for what it is not(inerrant).
How can God give us the TREASURE of an inerrant book, a pearl of a holy book, when the standard that God goes by is
"don't give that which is holy unto the dogs,  nor cast your pearls before SWINE"(Matthew 7.6)??!!
Mankind is collectively a super swine, so God is perfectly within His rights to give us LESS than a perfect book !!
We don't deserve an inerrant Bible !!
Get that into your heads !! Its not our place to demand an inerrant book !!
Who are we to threaten GOD ALMIGHTY !! like Jerry Falwell did in one of his sermons.
He said, "If there's even one little error in this book[the Bible], I would throw it in the trash can !!"
(Or "out the window" - i don't remember which).
That's like telling God, "God, if you don't answer my prayer in the affirmative,
I am going to dump you !!" Jerry Falwell, you were wrong to threaten God,
by saying you might throw away "the Word of God"!!
Shame on you !! On the other hand, you did start Liberty University which gives glory to God!!
(Even Paul the apostle or Martin Luther didn't start a Christian university.)
So all is forgiven !! Jerry Falwell - MAN OF GOD !!

Let's get back to the original issue:
How can we compare Christ and the Bible?
How does the Crucifixion help us with the inerrancy of the Bible??
Christ's bones were not broken. That reminds me that Christ said, "scripture cannot be broken"(John  10.35).
Could the fact that Christ's bones were not broken symbolize that the scriptures, likewise,  cannot be broken or disproved ??
There should be a parallel between Christ and the Bible because,
after all, both are "the Word of God."
But what about the fact that Christ's flesh WAS broken.
His wrists and feet were pierced thru with cruel nails/spikes.
His side was pierced by the soldier's satanic spear.
How does THAT relate to Biblical inerrancy??!!
Well, the idea is Christ let His body be broken, torn because it served His purpose.
Likewise, God lets the Bible suffer the humiliation of being disproved because it serves His purpose !!
 What purpose is that ??
Well, first of all, there's two parts to the Bible:
the foundational, and the secondary.
Just like with the human body, there's the skeleton, and then there's the flesh which hangs on that foundation.
The flesh is secondary in that it hangs on the bones,
the bones don't hang on the flesh.
Anyway, i see inerrancy the same way:
the bedrock truths of the Bible are unbreakable,
while the fleshy or relatively minor parts of the Bible ARE errant, sometimes able to be disproved.
Take Samson for example.
His super strength would be the foundation or bone part of this story: it has to be true.
But the part about "slaying 1000 men with the jawbone of an ass"(Judges 15.16) - that part is secondary.
The story doesn't stand or fall upon one jawbone lasting til the last of the 1000 men is killed. Some other weapon could have supplemented the first one.

Take the Tower of Babel as another example:
in 9 verses the Law of Moses butchers the truth of how languages split and developed into the hundreds we have today.
Genesis 11.7-9 says there was only one language but then GOD confused men
so that they left off the work of building the tower higher and higher -
as if they were trying to compete with God, "the Most High."
This is obviously not how different languages came into being.
As early mankind spread out over the face of the Earth,
that SPREADING OUT brought about differing words and dialects !!
And the amount of time must have been tremendous !!
Few things point to the great age of the world as much as the thousands of languages.
It must have taken hundreds of thousands of years for Chinese(the language before it)
to split off from Hindu (the tongue before it) and so on.
But my point here is that the New Testament counteracts - negates - the Genesis 11 story !!
For we read that "God is NOT the Author of confusion"(1 Corinthians 14.33)
even though the "Tower of Babel" story makes that claim !! (Genesis 11.1-9).

OK, now if the Tower of Babel story is errant but God lets it into the Bible
 because it serves God's purpose,
just what is that purpose ??!!
Well, for one thing, it shows the truth of John 1.17:
"for the Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ !!"
To be blunt, John the apostle is separating  the first 5 books of the Bible
(called the Law of Moses) from the rest of the Bible.
The juvenility of the Tower story justifies John 1.17.
Also this story justifies Paul's words, "put away childish things"(1 Corinthians 13.11).
