The Green Eyed Monster

Many people are not aware
Of this green eyed monster
As it slowly leak venom
Into their hearts' arteries
 
It is like a serpent creeping silently
Injecting poison into their bloodstream
Causing their hearts to stir
With unreasonable rage and hate
 
Many relationships are destroyed  
By this green eyed monster
Breeding enmity between friends and lovers
Bringing misery and unhappiness to its victims  
 
Low self esteem, feeling of inferiority and weak personality
Are breeding grounds for this green eyed monster  
Its victims are miserable people finding no happiness in life
And always think of themselves
As victims of circumstances  
 
People inflicted with this disease  
Are good at twisting stories,  fabricating lies and create drama to get attention
All they need is a small spark to create a huge fire
They are cunning, manipulative and calculating people  
Never trust them at face value
They appear to be nice and sweet  to get sympathy  
But the green eyed monster gripping their hearts can make them lose their mind and composure  
When their masks
are exposed
 
The green eyed monster  
Is a disease of the heart
That is hard to cure
It has been in the nature of man
Since the beginning of time
We learned it from the story
Of Cain who slew his brother Abel
