Oh, how I can relate to that...

You really summed up how it feels to have social anxiety and low self esteem. At least that's how I related it to myself. I think I may have avoidant personality disorder, which is largely driven by fear of messing up/humiliation. With that said, I often let my fear of doing or saying the wrong thing keep me from 'doing' at all. In that sense, this poem was very relatable to me...

I hope one day we can both conquer our fears and quit letting them hold us back :)

It is definitely true indeed this piece speaks volumes of truth for it is alright to be different but yet you are never alone in your chains of thoughts for to be able to express your feelings and emotions is a beautiful thing for it takes a lot to understand wholeheartedly that you are only human who must go through something's to get a clearer picture of thyself for self reflection is definitely necessary for growth and development respect dear poetess

Dear Marina, I completely empathize wit you. I too am a "nice person" always striving to say the right thing and not offend. Here's the thing., I'm gonna quote something that has been attributed to many, "what other people think of you is none of your business." That even extends to yourself sometimes. Be your genuine self and that is enough.
