Hunting Unicorns
so much pain
running like mice
scrabbling around
hurting the brain
mutterings, you know
with wiggling tails
rubbing other thoughts
akin to lighted flue
velvet can be painful
nightmares wide awake
new days bright agony
each steps on razor blade
sun shines in
sometimes
cleaning the cobwebs
planting smiles in her eyes.

Great Title Grace!!!
Very emotive Write...such things
must be truly terrifying, to lose memory and conscience thought
to break through the cob-webs must be a very special day.

It's periodical and most days she's just like anybody else. Very lovely, lively and outgoing. But sometimes she spaces out, forget where she is, who I am etc.
I'd like to think she goes to a good place then.
Thanks for reading me Soul. And the kind remarks.

The piece holds a lot of feeling, as well as this dystopian, dreamlike sense of abstraction that is interesting. I think it is well proportioned and rendered sugah.

Hi Daniel. I'm actually shooting in the dark with these thoughts. I can't put myself in the subject's shoes but I think where darkness is concerned, I've been there, so I can relate.
Thank you so much for being with me and reading my humble writes. You're very much appreciated.

Moving, as usual, you always display so much emotional compassion in every line you write. I love it.

Oh this is such a sad piece but so beautifully written. Takes me back to the final twilight years with my grandmother. Way to put it all out on paper! Such heart in this
