Shatter
Shatter the axioms of society,
Burn them to the ground.
They said we were the enemy.
Ruthless, murderous, cutting.
Though they never saw
The burning dread of conforming,
The fear of repressed thoughts, feelings, actions.
The way they govern
Everything.
We lashed out,
Or so they said.
Yet no amount of peace could
Stop the onslaught of terror they unleashed.
No amount of suffering could take the pain away.
