An interesting thing happens when you click something by accident
 
We all have curiosity and a sense of wonder  
Sometimes we go down the rabbit hole to explore
I opened a door only to realize that where I was at
Was a strange place I’d never seen before
 
Then something odd started to take place
My feed was fed some alternative information
Videos and site suggestions suddenly popped up
But I’m a little leery of these types of invitations
 
How the fuck is a Breitbart video on my screen?
What did I click on or look up for this to be here?
The algorithms just proves they’re watching
Trying to influence opinions by changing gears
 
But what this tells me is that there’s a fallacy
Incorrect data is being fed to fragile minds
Biased views and news shaping a movement
Meant to confuse during these difficult times
 
There is a lack of human connection
So much chatter the message is drowned
In the digital age something’s gone missing
In essence it’s a communication breakdown
 
Wake up and hear the subliminal messages
See through the lies because it’s poisoning
We must use our emotional intelligence
Do our due diligence and moral reasoning
