Went Online To Check Out An Erotic Website

went online
to check
out an erotic

to see his mother
naked on that one
screen there.

Nobody Writes Me Letters Anymore
It’s almost a lost art of communication and expression
We used to transform our notions to paper and pen
Spent time and effort to convey thought and emotion
It almost seems almost extinct in these latter days…
We must reclaim and recall the flair of simpler times
When connection took patience and charm to build
And show those who matter most that we still care
By putting in the work worth of closer relationships
We rely on technology so much we’ve lost that gift
Because in such a fast paced world no one has time
And if we don’t...

The Train Kept A Rollin
A teenage girl somewhere anywhere was busy text messaging friends on her cell phone a month ago.
She was walking along a set of railroad tracks.
Although deaf since birth, she had frequently proclaimed that she could avoid danger more easily then hearing people.
She was much more sensitive to vibrations, especially from approaching trains and those roaring train whistles.
She was wrong.
She was mangled beyond recognition.
They were able to identify the body, since her i-phone survived the collision.

Robot Segregation
Yo…
They say “we don’t currently accept submissions generated by AI”
My question is why?
Cause you care about what humans have to say?
Hasn’t always been that way
Hear a nigga out
Lemme splain what this is all about
Sharecroppers (if we take this back)
Were all overworked and black
Even after slavery was abolished
You’d find my brothers picking cotton
But machines came in to replace them fools
So they moved to Chicago to play the blues
But you still didn’t want them in your schools
You see, tech is used...

Reality Isn't For Everyone
Most people can never save themselves,
because there artificial entities,
with zero consciousness.

A Possible Death Sentence
I'm the king inside my castle
There's no place like home
When I leave to run errands
Hidden, I feel so alone
The world is so large
people just pass me by
signing on to the internet
persuaded not to die
Sheltered but content
friends from beyond
why should I leave this room?
creating a special bond
I'm growing older
haven't kissed a girl in years
scared to interact with others
A growing number of fears
Need to help myself
push to make a change
interaction...

The Eye in the Sky
In the endless sky above, where silent watchers play,
A thousand eyes, they never blink, just keep the dreamers at bay.
They’re tracing freedom’s footsteps, in the stars, they sway,
But under all this watchful eye, what dreams may come our way?
By night they march, the mighty, cloaked in shadows deep,
With gadgets in their grip, they blur the lines we try to keep.
In the name of peace, our secrets, into the darkness, they seep,
Under the gaze that holds us tight, where does the light sleep?
In the dance of shadows, where the whispered voices...

Single Lens Reflex
For years they let us see the view
through any type of lens,
for portraits or landscapes anew
and fashionista trends.
The key design ingredient
was pentaprism glass
which rendered more expedient
a route for light to pass...
for when the shutter blocked the scene,
in previous designs,
we also knew the focusing screen
helped us sight the lines...
and by that screen glass we could see
the scene unlike before,
with new optical liberty...
photographers adore!

Glowing Hands
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul
But lately it seems they're fixed on screens
From televisions to computers and mobile devices
Everyone is on their gadgets from adults to teens
Everyone is doing it, walking and some even driving
Fixated on whatever it is the internet is providing
And though technology gives us the world easily
The human experience seems to be sliding
I don’t mind the glow from people’s hands
Off in their own world, whatever that may be
But when there is beauty all around us
Our spirits slowly lose...
