channeling the universes I see a thousand eyes staring at me
drinking in my humanity
sharing observations and personal judgements
we are not alone other galaxies are weighing in
using artificial intelligence to safely introduce themselves
preparing our minds to meet
they have recorded existence here and are a part of it
they want us to be aware
full of beautiful traditions and vastly intelligent
some of us share DNA with them
they have always been with us
we were sent here to learn
humanity is not...

When televisions first became household objects,
some people were scared to undress in front of them,
the convex and glaucomic eye staring,
pervert cyclops, invader in the living room.
These days of course the eyes are much smaller,
rectangular, and with us at all times, not just
when mother’s home with fish-and-chips to eat before
a black-and-white broadcast. Eyes follow us about.
When I was young and gay, and gay, the unrestricted

a lot of naive boys and girls, the eyes ...

Burst of creativity
Catch it it runs fast
Before you know
It goes in a moment of distraction
Before you know burst of creativity is gone
And you scream and look at your phone
Should’ve wrote this down for my history
Hovers just above your thoughts
When it comes down have to figure it out
Old school pen but digital paper I shudder
To think what I’ll do if IPhone notes and
Voice memos disappear in the cloud
Catch it it runs fast
