Happy Night!
A candle flickers in the dark
And a breeze from the windows brushes my face
The door opens with a creak
You come in and you are mine now
I feel a pleasant trembling from head to toe
Forget about everything with me
This night will seem like a dream to us
You take me and pull me close
Forbidding me to tell you no and so I obey
And all my lingerie falls smoothly to the floor
The noise of trees and the night wind
But the sounds of our passion will drown these out
And the beating of hearts burning with desire
You will leave when the dawn arrives
But the indentations on the bed remind me
of a Happy Night!
And all day I will wait for you to come back to me
And a breeze from the windows brushes my face
The door opens with a creak
You come in and you are mine now
I feel a pleasant trembling from head to toe
Forget about everything with me
This night will seem like a dream to us
You take me and pull me close
Forbidding me to tell you no and so I obey
And all my lingerie falls smoothly to the floor
The noise of trees and the night wind
But the sounds of our passion will drown these out
And the beating of hearts burning with desire
You will leave when the dawn arrives
But the indentations on the bed remind me
of a Happy Night!
And all day I will wait for you to come back to me

The feeling of intimacy is deeper here, for me. I want to see you rip your heart out on the page. Check out my write Ataru for an example. Nice work.

Oh Daniel, I am not sure whether to be excited or scared by this challenge but I must accept even if I fail because that is who I am, but do not impose a time limit please. And I will absolutely be reading Ataru so I can see how it is done. :)

So romantic, filled me with feelgood. Many couples could relate to the last lines which convey the expectation of being home together again:
You will leave when the dawn arrives
But the indentations on the bed remind me
of a Happy Night!
And all day I will wait for you to come back to me
You will leave when the dawn arrives
But the indentations on the bed remind me
of a Happy Night!
And all day I will wait for you to come back to me

That it filled you with feelgood is one of the best comments I could get, thank you.

Me being me, I read this as an insight of having a Vampire as a lover. May I recommend a song to you? Haunted, by Type O Negative.
A beautiful write with a pinch of the Gothic about it.

Ah, I like that. It certainly gives a different image when thinking about it. I love song recommendations. :)
Maybe I will try to write something with a darker flare to it.

As far as positive goes, you nailed it. The title and emphasis on it being a joyful experience speaks volumes when most poems regarding intimate bedroom encounters are very mind numbing.

"You are mine now...so I obey" a lovely thought for delving into on a night freighted with dreams.

Absolutely, it can truly be a sweet surrender to give in completely to another. 💖

It is indeed, what could be better than feeding our deepest desires. I am a sadist, I can make it last all night long. You just have to bring it to the edge over and over again but don't quite go over. lol 💖

I'm late with this one, but, the seduction within this one is such the sensual to be ah sensative upon. I ah medley aluv ah honeyly this stanza. "Forget about everything with me, this night will seem like a dream to us. U take me and pull me close, forbidden me to tell u no and so I obey." Kristina, the ecstacy within this ah stanza is the elegance of her ah desire spoken, and, his or even her ah will to humble themselves to her ah will of this fetish. That she have the ultimate fulfillment in the we that both she see is ah presentable and ah represent. 👁️🥥🌷🍑👍💎💙🤎🌽🥬🥦🤍🛳️🌃🍜🧅🍉🤜🤛🤭🌈

Never too late Birchel. It's been so long since I read this one that it was interesting to come back to it. When you can be someone else's dream, it always becomes your dream too. That's one of the most rewarding experiences ever to me. Pulling so very close, and obeying the ecstasy, passion, and love. Speaking all of the desires and fetishes, living them. It is the ultimate fulfillment. To forget everything else in those moments that burn with the passion of the universe concentrated in two people. Thanks so much for finding this one and your wonderful comment.

I think there is no better compliment than being drawn into the scenario and truly experiencing the imagery. And the goal was definitely happy images for this one so I am happy I was able to share that with you. Hopefully it gave you a smile and help get you ready for the holidays. :)
