The Dawn Sprite
Her wind swept golden hair
Glistened like the sun
Her eyes, as green as emeralds
Spoke of strange and mysterious tales
That had not as yet begun
Her ruby red lips told of love
And devotion, and passion too
Her soft fair skin
Was marble white
And moist as morning dew
She flew with wings, into the sky
As the moon shone strange and bright
She espied the world below
With a curious eye
As she watched the passing night
She had flown, over hill and dale
And kissed the stars up high
Then in a spark of light
She brought the daylight
And waved the night goodbye
Glistened like the sun
Her eyes, as green as emeralds
Spoke of strange and mysterious tales
That had not as yet begun
Her ruby red lips told of love
And devotion, and passion too
Her soft fair skin
Was marble white
And moist as morning dew
She flew with wings, into the sky
As the moon shone strange and bright
She espied the world below
With a curious eye
As she watched the passing night
She had flown, over hill and dale
And kissed the stars up high
Then in a spark of light
She brought the daylight
And waved the night goodbye
