Wipe your tears away
Mom,
You're the one
That gave me hope from an early age
You believed in me
My accomplishments are yours
Thanks to you
Inconspicuous little bird
Now with determination
She follows her dreams
Dear Mom, I promise
You will never be alone
Problems are blown in by the wind
Believe me, I know it happens
The rose does not grow without thorns
Life is testing us
When the storm passes
I know you will get better again
I will always be with you
If you need a hand I will give you two
You took care of me
And I will do anything for you
You will always be the one
person in my life
Which I thank for everything
And I cannot express how blessed
I am to have you
Thanks to you, I'm here
And I stand where I stand
You taught me to connect words
Thanks to you, I have everything
But I am so scared
That I will not be able to wipe your
tears away
Like you did for me
I will always stand by you
I know there have been so many changes
Even if Dad is not near
I will never leave your side
As long as you need me, I'm here
You do not have to be afraid
From a little girl
I became a woman

It's a beautiful poem, KristinaX & it is important for you to remember that your Mom is not alone because she has your love in her life. My Son is grieving his Mum at this time however, so can relate. You will handle the pain in your own way of course but I hope it won't always be unbearable for you.

Thanks Billy. I am sorry to hear that you and your son can relate to this. I will do what I must to help my mom get through this again and I can only pray that she will. I want to make sure I am a reason for her to keep fighting.

This is beautiful. So touching and endearing. I can’t imagine your struggle or pain. But you’re not alone. Keep writing and getting it out. We will be here to support you so you can suooort your mom. You are so strong and brave!! And you leave us those great gift and message, reminding us to not lose focus on what matters most in life. Thank you.

There is such an intimacy to the epistle style, a nuance of emotions, longing, loss. It is like a message in a bottle, cast into the sea. To honor your mother in this way shows how well she raised you. My condolences for the loss to your family. 🙏💖

Your mom was obviously at a critical point of need and you were there to support her. I'm seeing the post-edited version, which does not allow me to apprehend some of the "raw emotions" you may have toned down. That does not matter, though; the adoration and care you have for your mother, and the high esteem in which you hold her, speak volumes of a heart that knows true gratitude.
What comes across most poignantly is your utter sincerity:
"But I am so scared
That I will not be able to wipe your
tears away
Like you did for me"
I also see a heart torn because of your dad being on one side, and your mom on the other, of a reconciliation divide. These are the most difficult situations for the children of any union. My thoughts are with you, my friend.
