Desperation
As desperation discover me, and the moon light hovers over me. I am praying that desperation, does not awaken the other me. Yelling out side of those barb wire fences asking Pharoh to let my brothers free. Landed here as prisoner, stack together in the hull of my enemy ship. I am a King strip of my name, rattling chains tasting the pain,of the cracking whip. Now I am free to kill me with a gun on my hip.And in the ghetto darkness I can feel my humanity slip. I can feel the cold steel, warming in my hand, as I am loading the clip. A angry snarl on my face with trembling lips. I am lost in the belly of America as I am losing my grip. A spark in dark a life lost squealing tires as I get away in my whip. I watch brothers forget their names. Now they identify as a blood or a crip. Calling each other brother but ain't no love in this shit. In dark corners, addicts taking a hit. Nothing but rats and snakes in this devilish pit. Desperation mental incarceration, would be the death of this ebony nation. If we don't change the condition of our situation. That's hell bent on devastation. Poverty frustration and aggravation. Poisonous fruit grown by the hands of negative cultivation. It seems as death is our only salvation. Lost in the streets with a ghetto education.
