Constancy
Your love is one of the constant things in my life
That I can always count on, lean on, and depend on
Anytime I am down
You are always there to pull me up
When I fall
To help me when I'm helpless
To love me when I need it most
To care for me when I need caring
Despite the changes we went through
Your love never changed with time
Its constancy remain through the years
Persevering in the ups and downs of our life
At times I feel unworthy
Of your unwavering love
That have grown deeper with the passing of years
I cannot imagine how my life would be without you
You are the force behind my strength
The sunshine in my gloomy sky
The wind beneath my fragile wings
The love I'll always be grateful of having

Genuine love does indeed grow stronger with the passing of time. A close friend of mine said the same thing as you.
Personally, my natural reaction is to want to vomit but that is only because I wish to have what you HAVE.
This is truly a love write in every way.

Thank you for the comment Snaggy. Yes love does grow deeper with time. Though it may not be like how it started with all the sparks of romance but it is deeper, more tolerant, more forgiving more understanding, more loving. It is ripened by time like the aging of wine 😊🙏

This is a very beautifully expressed love poem. Love has not been so kind to me but then I have looked for it in all of the wrong places much of my life. To love and be loved, that is what we crave. True love is more rare than most people believe at least In my opinion. That you have found that kind of love, you are quite fortunate. Your expression of this love made for a wonderful love poem. Thank you dear Faith. To love and be loved is one of the most meaningful thing that could ever happen to us. It is a craving and also a need. Love may not have been kind to you but you are blessed with other equally meaningful things. What's important is that we love and keep loving. 🌹❤
