When days were dark and nights were long
An idea had sparked into a thought
Will I find happiness or is hope long gone
I think what happened was I've been all wrong
Hope has been there in the winds' songs

This is an extraordinary example of resiliency, Whitefeather.
Being half Shoshone, I understood with clarity the, " winds' song ". You have been listening, dear poet. As with the wind, all things change and move in the direction as nature has intended it to be so.
One must learn from the past, be it good or bad, to remind us that we have always had "hope", when we listen for her.

Yes, we should let bygones be bygones but sometimes your anger get the best you and you have to give that person a piece of your mind. Keep on writing.
