Incorrigible Fear
It's a nice sunny day
As I look all around
The kids still can't play
On the merry-go-round
No sounds of laughter
And traffic is minimal
For now and maybe after
People are less hospitable
Incorrigible due to fear
Anxious beyond repair
Once we're given the all clear
Will they let down their hair

Children will always be children. It is mostly we adults who can't easily get over anything fearful or traumatic.
