While so many are defending the rights of others to live during the pandemic, someone needs to speak on behalf of the fallen.

Hear this. Nights entirely overwhelmed in the life blood of this. Grand amount conveyed in short stock. Thank you.

Such an incredibly empathetic little poem, Ahavati. A reminder that just because a person may have been a nameless face to some, they were (and probably still are) somebody's somebody - and they matter. Thank you for sharing this beautiful visual entry!

It’s easy to dismiss death when it is presented as a figure in a sea of statistics. Not so easy when we are reminded that they were human beings who loved and were loved. Thank you for reminding us, Ahavati 💜.

Beautiful! Death affects the living more than the dead...it is important to help all who lose a loved one to heal and continue to flourish. Wonderful ink A.

Many times I'm left in awe at the weight of your words with just a few lines. The visual aspect just added to that even more.
Beautiful and haunting, but in reality, I'm a little speechless.

No way to expound on this
But Lord knows you are so very right, for this duty falls upon us all
Cuz only the worst kind of "Monday morning Quarterback" goes after someone who no longer has the chance to defend, or amend
Oh I really love this piece

Thank you, FB. Too often they're viewed as a statistic rather than having been someone's mother/father, brother/sister, daughter, son, etc.
