Your voice is the hush of evening
Gentle, quiet in the drawing down
The soft stillness of daylight's fleeting
Where lengthened shadows found
Please don't speak to me of leaving
Speak to me without a sound
Just the nearness of your breathing
Just your eyes where my heart's drowned
Just our lips so softly meeting
Fiercely lingering in kisses found
The all of you my life's been needing
And by you forever bound
