I have often thought about how life
Would have been if I hadn't met you
Would I be any sadder or happier at all?
I can't even picture my life without you
The thought of you not being here
Hurts so much deep inside me
It makes me ill to think that you
May not even realize how important
You actually are to me and my happiness
Do you know how much I fear
That you might leave me for someone
Who is far more lovely to the eyes
How I wouldn't even blame you for leaving
This constant pain in my chest
The fear that you could have someone else
Someone far better than me
Dark, morbid, depressing me
I wish you understood even
The smallest amount of this fear
I love you more than words can
Even begin to describe
And I can't seem to make you
Understand how destroyed I would be
If you didn't really care about me
I just wish you knew just how much
You actually mean to me
