Broken Wings
She's like an angel sent from the stars
Wish I could hold back her wings,
Keep her halo from sight,
A heart like that scares this black world
Somedays I just want to wrap her up
Wipe her tears and hide her beauty
We're all afraid of something so pure
So we tarnish what was born to shine
