My dreams take me to another planet. This is a world where gardens overflow terraces. Double moons shine through pink skies. There a castle stands amidst snowy peaks. The city of our dreams is realized in some distant epoch of time.
There my princess awaits me amidst the star flowers. Her hair flows in waves of silvery curls. Her eyes burn like diamonds, freshly born of the molten rock. Naked as on the day of her creation, her hair is entwined in red and purple blossoms. Her body is lustrous like star light.
Her smile coaxes my soul to migrate into the recesses of her spirit.
Rivers merge from our loins. Cells divide into a mosaic of life. A newborn stream, fresh and pure, flows into a future pregnant with possibilities. The golden fruit of our union grows in her womb in which a winged child germinates.
The child carries my dreams heavenward into crystal spheres in the azure heights. My heart quiets as I gaze at the Promised Land where at last our utopian visions are realized.
My mistress and my song fade as we melt into the earth to become the dew drops falling from leaves, the sigh of the wind on a cold winter’s night,
and the grass upon which lovers roll.
Our progeny finds the forgotten sanctuary and spans the chasm I cannot cross. This star child is born from our melded bodies. My being becomes infinite, moves silently across vast star fields, and the galaxies contained in my cells are released into the void.
