A minute of uncut diamonds
For a minute I forgot you gotta girl
For a second my heart springs from my chest
In the most corny animation type of way
For a second I could imagine you here
In my bed, your hand on my waist
My head tucked against your chest
Your heartbeat thundering against my ear
But then reality kicks in much like my chest
My heart sent plummeting to a depth
You couldn't understand I don't think
How raw my emotions for you are
Like an endless pile of uncut diamonds
Set ablaze by the gasoline from my blood
My love for you isn't fleeting...
But you still gotta girl, don't you?
And I still got a pile of uncut diamonds
Grinding and cutting up my chest inside
For a second my heart springs from my chest
In the most corny animation type of way
For a second I could imagine you here
In my bed, your hand on my waist
My head tucked against your chest
Your heartbeat thundering against my ear
But then reality kicks in much like my chest
My heart sent plummeting to a depth
You couldn't understand I don't think
How raw my emotions for you are
Like an endless pile of uncut diamonds
Set ablaze by the gasoline from my blood
My love for you isn't fleeting...
But you still gotta girl, don't you?
And I still got a pile of uncut diamonds
Grinding and cutting up my chest inside
