Shell Seeker
I walked barefoot in a ribbon of sand as I seek Junonia shells along the shore of Sanibel Island. Gently placed
in a clam bucket that swings from my hand,
humming a tune I heard from earlier that afternoon.

The brevity of the piece has a kind of zen magnification of it's details, which come across with clarity and emphasis. A lovely oasis amidst the heavier subjects I traverse. 💖 Nice bit of organic rhyme as well.

Your poem expresses a tranquil happy moment in your life. I can feel the sand at your feet and the sun on your skin.
