An appreciation
The first time I saw you,
I was still feeling blue.
My heart was still broken,
By the words they had spoken.
Love wasn’t for me,
but then I met you.
You made me see,
What love can really be.
You taught me a lot,
like the things they were not.
You and I in this boat together,
We can make this last forever.
If you follow me now,
I’ll show you how.
Since we’re together,
I'm no longer blue.
And the only thing I want from now on
Is to be with you.
