Whispers in the dark
Secrets between two hearts
Behind closed doors their love wages like war
Till their worlds are torn apart
Anger in their souls
Empty and unwhole
Trying to fill the space with any friendly face
Their love gone dead and cold
What they once had is gone
What they do now is wrong
But the pain they have inside is more than they can hide
Afraid to just move on
Whispers in the dark always cut deep and sharp
And they always leave a scar
